Exclamation L92 swap

Dear everyone,
I have a 2010 silverado 6speed auto, It's 5.3l I am swapping the engine with 6.2l, however I will run 243 heads with comp 228/240 113 lsa cam, 7.4 comp pushrods, trick flow dual spring, custom headers and Volant air intake , please advise me with this setup.
Is it better to run l92 heads or 243 or ls7 heads keeping in mind I have the 243's from my previous engine.

Are you buying the 6.2 as a long block or a short block?

What are you doing with this setup? Street truck? Drag setup? High stall and deep gears? VVT or not?

Cool

243's will raise comp ratio, but only slightly. Also that gain will not out weigh the loss of CFM flow you would have going from L92's to 243's. If you don't have either of the heads now, then I say go for the L92's (over 300 cfm in stock form), you will make more power.

If you already have the 243's then go for it, they will be fine.

Good Luck.

Your 5.3L already has 243/799 heads you could reuse those and upgrade to the hollow valves. Why buy new 243 when you already ahve them?

Then why run 243's when you can get new L92/LS3's for $320 bucks assy. new??? From another place than the one posted.
