Default Oil temp location

I have an 09 LS3 from a Corvette I am installing in my 72 Vette. I am looking for the oil bypass piece that is down by the oil filter. Mine has no port for a pressure or temp gauge. I see the early LS motors had a port on this piece. I can't seem to locate this or an aftermarket piece that I can tap into for the oil temp. I ma using the port on the top of the motor for an oil pressure gauge. Any suggestions?

The piece was on all the older LS1's and 6's. The early vettes had them drilled for a metric fitting. GM should still stock it. Call SDPC. I think Linginfelter makes one and TPIS also has one they are $$ . I drilled and tapped mine , but have since moved the temp sensor to the oil pan.
