need some help guys!!! i have a 98 ss and was wondering if it would be cheaper to rebuild my current motor (i dont have alot of experience with ls1's and was going to have a gm specialist shop do the rebuild), or just buy a new one. it sounds like the notorious lifter problem but im not sure and just want to rebuild it or buy a new long block so i dont have this issue any more... the shop that would be doing it is called powertech performance if any of you are familiar with turbo joe..
