Info needed on Vortec LFA
Hello, I have been thinking about doing a LS based swap to my Porsche 944 for a few years now. The other day my friend told me he had a Vortec 6000 LFA all aluminum. I was told it was out of a 2012 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid with 60, 000 miles. I have searched all around the web and can not find much on the LFA. I would like to know how alike this engine is to an LS, does it match bolt patterns, it the oil pan the same, and if enough alike what engine can I buy performance parts for? I am new to lS engines, so any little help would be great.
This is the kit I will use for the swap if it pretences to the likeness of engines.

Thank you for all the help.

It is still a member of the LS family, so you're good I would think. If you run into issues sell it and buy a LQ9. I'm sure it'd be easy to sell an all aluminum 6.0 with 243 heads on it already. They are hard to come by.

Thank you for the responses. I guess this will be the start to a fun project. I would still like to know what to buy part for sense summit lists very few parts for this engine.

I just helped a buddy convert one of these to an LS2. The only thing we had to do was swap the cam, lifters, timing cover and valley cover. They are basically an LS2 with a milder cam, VVT and AFM. The pistons do have valve reliefs in them, so I believe the compression is ~10.7:1. All of the mounting points for oil pans, front accessories and everything is the same.
