My question is I can get a set of stock ls2 heads cheap I have a ls6 now an wanted to know the difference between the two all I can find out is the valves? Which are better? For a cam? Also where's a good place to send them for port work an milling how much?

Keep the current heads you have and send those out to be ported by TEA, AI, WCCH, Livernois etc. They are all around 1000 for the port, mill and valve job.

Better to keep the lighter intake valves for valvetrain stability at high revs.

Sorry I missed this earlier, If you have LS6 heads your heads are essentially the same as a set of LS2's.

If you want to send us your heads we can get you these done fully CNC-ed and assembled for $999.00 (limited time) out the door. For a couple hundred more you can get titanium retainers, springs up to almost .700 lift and super seven locks.
