Exhaust ports LS3 vs LS7

Exhaust ports LS3 vs LS7 Hi,
I am aware that both exhaust ports have a different shape.
What I would like to know is if the LS7 exhaust port is larger than the LS3 exhaust port?
Is the LS7 exhaust port covering the LS3 exhaust port completely?
I checked the LS7 and LS3 exhaust gaskets and to me it looks like the shape of the LS7 exhaust port wont cover the shape of the LS3 exhaust port on the bottom (check the areas I marked green on the attached picture).
If this is the case could I port the ls7 manifold a bit on its flange and trim the ls7 exhaust gasket so the exhaust flow wont get disrupted much?
I am asking because I would like to install a stock/oem LS7 exhaust manifold on my LS3.
Hence I need to decide how ideal such a solution is.
