Default LS3/525 Just Arrived. Now what?

After receiving a quote for $3100 to restore an LS1 I bought on eBay, I decided to go for broke and swap out the blown LS1 from my Firebird with a Chevrolet Performance crate engine. Now that I've pulled the LS1, where do I even begin to install the new engine? Any suggestions, whether big or small would be greatly appreciated!

To put it in an ls1 vehicle youll still need ALOT. 24x conversion box, cam and knock sensor harness, etc etc.

If you want to shoot em an email we can get you all lined out with everything youll need.

Thank you for the tip! I was a frequent customer of the W66Store before I threw a rod in Spring 2015. I'll call them up and get a list to things to buy first thing next week!

Definitely check out the below sticky. It is not all-inclusive, but it has a lot. I am still in the middle of mine--maybe 80% complete (assuming I did everything correctly).
