04 5.3 rainier with ls2 cam Hey guys I'm new and have a problem. Have searched all day and have come up empty. I have a 04 buick rainier with the lm4 5.3. I swapped a ls2,springs,cam gear in and also the ls2 cam gear and timing cover with the sensor and harness Now here's my problem. I'm getting a camshaft position code and truck doesn't start the first time sometimes. I installed the harness extender. Now I'm wondering what am I missing. On the 5.3 cam the reluctor is on the cam itself and ls2 it's on the cam gear. What am I missing.any help would be appreciated.

Did you swap the two outer wires on the sensor plug? Leave the middle one alone.
