Yea ole KCS posted some pics some time back of it. Good read. I'd like to see the RPM gains with different length mouths....shorter ones would make more TQ, you know what I'm getting at. Nice product. They did say that Cathedral and newer LT intakes would be done down the road.

Keep your fingers crossed for the Cathedral. You know the LT is gonna get made.

Fast seems to have abandoned development in the cathedral market.

A while back we were screaming for mid length runner cathedral fast 102.

I want to see some dyno results. I think the longer runners would be best for me. I have an LS3 based 427 that peaks around 6400 rpm and holds onto around 6700 and my shift point.

Edit: The other thing I need to know is the total height of this thing. It has to fit under the hood of my 1965 Buick Skylark.

Yep......some kind of testing. would be nice.

For now.....no way to know if it's really a game changer or just another pretty piece of plastic.

Based on Tony's work with the MSD on a ls7, I'd guess the mid length runners would do better on a 427. Especially one that is more stroke and less bore vs the OEM ls7.

I for one would like to see if it clears the f body cowl

I'm sure that the bigger dollars are being spent on the newer style motors so it makes sense. The LS6 was the pinnacle of factory high perf cathedral motors if I'm not mistaken, and how long ago was it since one of those was in production? If you're selling thousand dollar intake manifolds you're gonna go to where people are going to buy them rather than fantasize about doing so - like I do. That's my thought anyway.

I hate to say it but I'm pretty sure this won't fit under the F-Body cowl without modification.

yeah, but the intake also is purportedly designed to hold boost, as well, so high-rpm square-port apps wouldn't be the only application. kind of stinks they didn't go in that direction.

Yes I think they'll be some cutting involved for sure but how much!? This thing would really help high rpm on the juice or boost!!

Scroll down and look at the results of the Carbon pTR intake. It's basically the same and I think they elude to FAST partnering/owning them.

To be a true game changer it would need electronically controlled variable length runners like this.

OK I just got some info. From what was stated 3 different manufactures have these and are testing. Mast, Texas Speed and one other I'm not familiar with. The results stated were 40+ gains on the top end with minimal torque loss on the bottom. All tested on big cube LS7's. Also the LS3 version will be available first part of April and LS7 version one month later. Hmmmmmmm
