Default 2 wire Regulator Alternator, i'm screwed

So I bought a Holley mid mount accessory drive part number 20-185. I installed it on a 2008 L92. The problem is the alternator needs to be a 2 wire regulator and what they sell you is a 4 wire. From what I've read the ECM needs a signal from the alternator so a 2 wire is a must. Gm changed to this in 2006. Since the mid mount is tight and low it puts the alternator right in front of the head. The stock alternator squeezes in if I remove the rear cover but then the post hit the head. I need a 2 wire reg side post alternator! Any suggestions? Thanks!

BTW, Holley is absolutely NO help. Tech line just played dumb

For the most part, you can get the alternator pigtail for the 4-wire alt and splice it into your vehicle harness.

You can look up the pin outs on the alternator, and match it up with the car's harness.
