Default Best bang for the Buck upgrades

2008 truck with a 5.3. what would be best bang for the buck for some upgrades.
thinking Exhaust, air intake kit and possibly Intake but not sure which ones to go with. would really like to have Exhaust that does not run straight out the back of the truck.

Depends if its a stick or auto.....

Stick: intake, exhaust, tune.

Auto: stall, tune.

Don't change the intake manifold. It's already good
