Default wiring dual cooling fans off 1 relay slow fans

Does wiring dual cooling fans off 1 relay slow the fans? Does the added resistance of the 2 off the same line not allow them to spin at full potential?

Let me guess- you had the fans wired in PARALLEL, splitting the current. Had they been in SERIES they would have run faster..
