Default Is This Manifold Repairable

Hey Everyone,

My wife and I were installing our L96 Gen IV 6.0 in our 1965 Cutlass and we noticed when installing the intake manifold that one of the bolt holes on top of the manifold has a crack all the way around it and is recessed a little. I had my wife shine a flashlight at the hole as I held the throttle body open to see if we could see any light and I did not see any light passing through. The hole is located towards the back of the intake manifold. Is this something to be worried about or is it repairable? Pictures for your reference. Thanks for all of your help.

Sand it really good and put some epoxy around it. U can also plastic weld it back together.

A little JB Weld will seal that up permanently. Problem solved.

Ok thanks guys for all the info. Does this bolt hole go directly down through the intake or is it far enough above the manifold that it would not penetrate through? I shined a flashlight down around the hole and opened up the throttle body to see if I could see light but I couldn't.

No it doesnt go into the intake. Its only needed for the top intake cover. If u can break it off it want hurt anything. It most likely isnt cracked into the intake.

I have a couple of stock LS3 intakes in excellent condition if it turns out you need an intake.

Best of luck!
