Default l92/l76 or 2.5 5.3/fast on 408?

I currently have some tsp prc 5.3 2.5r heads flowing 308 that are 62cc, 2.04/1.575 with a FAST 90/90 ported for them. I have heard some good things about the l92/l78 setup and it sounds like i could almost recoupe all my money on them if not more by just swapping over. Is this a worthwhile endeavor? what kind of power change are we looking at?

I sold the PRC 2.5R 5.3 heads, ported fast, cam, pushrods from my 346 when I built the 402 w/ L92-L76. I also sold the 1 3/4 LT's and recouped a lot of money towards the build. I'm very happy with the results of the build.

I am in the process of switching form AS 5.3L 2.04/1.57 heads, FAST 90, to the L92 stage 2/L76 set up on my 402. I will post gains after it's finished.

How much do you feel you gained by going with what I assume was 1 7/8" instead of the 1 3/4" headers? This is a deciscion I will be making shortly
