Default L76/LS3 intake on a C5, which TB to use?

Seeing that the L76/LS3 intake comes with a TB, rails, injectors and such, but how does that work on a C5? The TB motor is on the opposite side?

Is the electrical connector the same, will it still plug into the stock C5 harness? but the most important question is will it interfere with the blower brackets on that side?

Would it be easier to get a 90mm for a fast intake like a Nick williams or a TPIS 90?

Need some help guys

You can use the Tb that comes with the manifold kit. All you have to do is buy the adaptor harness and the whole thing is plug and play.

Well the L76/LS3 intake wont work on a C5 unless you have the L92 heads. And even then, the L92 heads wont work on anything smaller than a 4.00" bore. (6.0L). So unless you have a 6.0L or bigger its not gonna fit.

Well I think we all know this by now and it really doesn't address the original post but thanks for reiterating it: The question was
What is the difference between a L76 intake and a LS3 intake, such as the_merv is suggesting?

there is a different casting # for both intakes.. with the new LS3 flowing more air than the L76... some one posted the findings a month or so ago.. i think it might have been LGmotorsports.. not sure though.. if search was up to par i would find the link..

the only real diff in those intakes is the CFM they flow. The LS3 does flow a lil more CFM from what i have read. BUT my point was, no matter if one makes 10000 more hp than the other...unless you have the L92s and the 4.00"+ bore...it doesnt matter. some people still dont understand that. you very well could have a 402+ci motor with them. You never said what heads/motor it was going on other than being a C5.

The LS3 Intake is bigger..has a distinct look to it.
The L92/LS3 Heads, like mentioned above, are the only Heads that they will work with, and they require a 4.000" or larger Bore.

The differernce in the Heads if you haven't seen them compared to the normal Gen III/some Gen IV Heads is the Intake Ports are rectangular, where the earlier Heads have the Cathedral Ports.

The LS7's are different yet, the Ports are bigger(still rectangular, cut a little bit lower), and the Bolt Pattern for the Intake is different.

And yes, it is very easy to get a 402 Stroker built with these Heads, and it can produce some good power.
