Do some searching in the dyno results section bro. Your goals decide a lot of what camshaft will work best in your application. I personally like the 228R for guys wanting a smaller camshaft, or maybe the Torquer 3 camshaft if you want a little bit more aggressive camshaft & have the supporting mods. You might also checkout the new PRC spring kit, it's designed to have a much much longer life than previous LS double valve springs & should give you years & years of trouble free miles without even thinking about valve spring maintenace typically associated with big lift aftermarket camshafts!!

We offer the complete cam packages even with this new valve spring for about $730ish if memory serves me correctly!!

You should change springs with any camshaft, no matter what. Stock LS1 springs are basically at their limits with the stock .500" lift cam. Which spring you pick will be dictated by which cam your run.
