Default 383 vs. forged 347?

I'm finally going with a new build, but it will take me some time. Any pros and cons between the two? I just want to get solidly in the mid 10's. Nitrous vs procharged? Which can take the better beating for the best bang for a buck. Or any other ideas on what I can build...all input is appreciated.

Get the 383ci. I did the same thing you did and later wished I did the 383ci. More ci's get you more n/a tq and some power too. My fully built 347ci made 463hp 414tq afr heads,11.2 compression, ect. my buds 383ci,11.8 compression made 490hp 450tq same dyno. Our builds had same intake,12 bolt,4.11's,exhaust,both m6 trans and open cutouts. Our cams were close in size to each other. I also sprayed my motor with a 200shot with no issues. I had forged pistons, rods and a stock crank. goodluck to ya.
