will I sacrifice anything with tea ported 243's vs tfs 225's? I have a 05 gto with the ls2. The nice thing about having a ls2 is that you already have 243 castings. I want to do heads cam and really wanted to get the tfs 225's but was thining about just getting my stock 243's done to save some money. They have a nice looking stage 2 package for them for 1300. What would be the trade off if any for doing them instead of getting the 225's? Thanks.

I had a set of stock ported on my ls1 back in the day. I did nothing but switched to afr 205cc 59cc heads and gained 47hp from afr heads. My stock ported heads were done by a popular sponsor and were st-2. I also went from 11.7 to 11.3 in the 1/4mi. My bud went from stock ported to TFS 215 and made a major gain too. I'm always for aftermarket AFR or TFS heads over factory ported. goodluck to ya.
