When did vvt come out in 6.0's? What was the first year of vvt in the 6.0 liters? I want to avoid it when i do my carb build. Thanks fellas. |
2007+ for VVT in general. |
So would you say all 2007 and up 6.0's are vvt? |

How would I know which ones are vvt? Going to get one at a salvage yard. |
look on the front of the engine and compare the waterpump and timing cover to that of a normal 6.0. The timing cover will be slightly more extended and have a plug going into it; this is for the VVT cam phaser. I just got my 6.0L LY6 VVT motor running in my 1994 Firebird with a M12 T56 in it. |
I have my ly6 running in a 01 truck with vvt working. |
The 2006 Trailblazer LS2 (24x reluctor) does not have VVT, correct? Tipsy |
