I am about to try and start a new GM LS3 crate motor. There was no information included with the engine about warnings or things you should do (or not do). I assume that since it has roller lifters there is no need for any kind of CAM breakin, like starting the engine and run at 2000 rpm for 15 minutes. Are there any procedures that should be followed , or is it just crank it, let it idle and check for any leaks?
