TFS 215's on a 416???

I have a 382 now, plan on building a 416, with my Lunati crank and rods and a LS3 block. Will my TFS 215 cnc w/61cc heads work on this build or do I need different heads? This will be a track only car.
Also, what would be a good cam ? I have a Vindicator now, 240/244 .605/.596 112+4 LSA
New to the Gen IV scene. Thanks in advance guys.

Look at the Nov 09 issue of GM High-Tech Mag, there is an SS running a 416 with TFS 215
making good power. The same car is running a much bigger cam! You may want to call Ron at Veneance Racing about a cam!

Thanks guys, I think I need bigger heads and a bigger custom cam. These TFS 215's are some great heads and there brand new. Don't know much about the L92's, but alot of people are running them. Guest I need to do some more research, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody else. Still looking for answers/advice. Keep the TFS 215, go with TFS 225 or some CNC L92

I would use 235s. You can actually call TEA and they can open them up to 235 from 215. Im not sure how much they charge for that, but is cheaper than buying new heads.

I would think that if it is a track-only car, the 215's might be a little small for a 416.

LS2 Bait made 527 wheel with a 416 and TFS 215's and his streetcar goes Nines with alittle spray, stick shift and full weight. Theirs also so a 402cid with them that makes 540wheel. What are your goals?

NA, Turbo 400, 5000 stall, 2900lbs. 10.30's 1/4 mile. Not worried about RWHP, I'm sure over 500 with no problem. My 382 made 465 and ran 10.80's.
Just wandering if I need bigger heads. 225 or 235. Going to get a custom cam and reuse my Fast 92/92 set-up. Around 11.5:1 compression.

You are going to be limiting your potential with the 215's. Get the 225's or even the 235's and allow yourself some room to grow in the future.Cost difference is negligable up front.
