Default 285cc PRC LS7 CNC Ported 415+cfm Cylinder Heads Now Available

We recently finished up the final version of the all new PRC CNC Ported 285cc LS7 cylinder head! The head is available in stock LS7 castings or in the Performance Induction 6 bolt LS7 head! Look for dyno data next week when we install a set on a 454 LS7 resleeved engine.

damn! Not bad really when considering its for a small block! The ls stuff is starting to show it can hang with some of the major players.

so when do you expect to post a graph of the 454? what cam are you guys using? i hope its the ls7r or one similar. . btw, why a ls7 sleeved 454?

Not sure what camshaft Jason is planning to throw in there, but I can tell you he was wanting to go larger cubes without the extra weight of the LSx block and without the cost of the aftermarket block.

Do you think that with these heads and 440 cubes you could make 750ish hp on pump gas?

Its all about the intakes at those power levels, its not just the heads. 350 cfm heads can make 750 fwhp...if you have the right intake.

I believe on the stock casting its around 3/8".

That becomes more of a question of CASH.

In my opinion, there is nothing that can beat an ITB (Individual Throttle Body) intake. There's several brands. They crush sheet metal intakes in flow. But ITB intakes range from $3,000 to $12,000.

For a budget of some sort, a ported LS7 or ported Fast 102mm is probably the best bet. But neither of these intakes can even begin to feed the heads we have available today for our LSx engines anywhere near their max potential. A 400cfm head is a friggin BEAST. So the intakes will remain the weak link for a very long time with LSx engines.
