shipping will kill you there though. Take the part number to your local dealer and see what they'll charge. Usually they are pretty fair when you take shipping costs from online vendors into account.

Default Pantera EFI : VVT & LS-3 heads

My LS-3 heads arrived, # 0821's, at a cost of $675.00 delivered to my shop.
There seems to be small differences in the ports, though I need to inspect them on my CMM, valves, springs, etc. are correct.

Now for the VVT, my cam is a 232/254 on a 118 C/L with .560 lift for use with the "yellow springs".
The piston to intake valve distance is .065" at full advance, a bit tight.

The stock VVT motor when measured allows for 108 C/L at full advance with this camshaft.

Then I install MY "limitor", it is of my OWN design as I limit BOTH ends ADVANCE/RETARD.
When this method is used the piston to valve is greater AND safe.

Isn't it only the LS3 Intake valves that are different than the L92?

I was told that the exhaust valves were the same. Correct?

Also, if anyone is looking for a VVT setup, I'm selling a complete one.

I verified this with SD parts. Exhaust valves are exactly the same.
