Default FIRST PICS PRC LS-3 Aftermarket Casting Cylinder Heads Sneak Peak INSIDE!!

After nearly a year of development we're finally to the point where I can show you guys our newest LS based PRC castings! This all new casting is the PRC LS3 cylinder head & will be available in MANY different configurations ranging from LS1 friendly LS3 heads all the way up to large cube LS3 stroker applications! We don't have flow data or anything like this at this time, this is simply a post to let you guys checkout the progress & know we're working hard to make these cylinder heads a reality. The new changes to our castings will allow many new features on both the LS3 head & the cathedral LS heads! Keep your eyes open & we'll keep you guys updated on progress!

Enjoy!

I like that you guys are putting out new products. I look forward to hearing more about them. Do you care to share what all you have planned for them? Runner, chamber, valve sizes? Minimum bore per setup? Are these a modification / retool of the current cathedral port options or a completely different casting?

Man, those look like amazing castings.

I'm patiently waiting for more specs and flow numbers.

Will a standard LS3/L92 intake work on these heads or not? I have to guess that you guys are working on this.

Keep up the great updates and work, we appreciate all that you do.

You can see in the pictures that they have the added material for the extra bolts. Why would they design a head that doesn't accept the currently available OEM and aftermarket intake manifolds?

My guess is this is a revision of their PRC cathedral port head.

it's for ls3/l92 intakes.

We already have cathedral heads available to ship & in stock.

This is a new project for LS3 head applications that want a complete cnc runner instead of working from the GM casting.

Do you guys have a time frame for when these will be available? I would like to add these to my 376 LSX.

The CNC LS3 heads from Scoggin-Dickey ($750 each assembled) have these flow numbers. How do yours compare?

CYLINDER HEAD FLOW SPECS: (CFM)

.200 .300 .400 .500 .600 .650

INT 153 225 280 324 350 355

EXH 118 180 201 217 230 236

It's a little early to be comparing flow numbers just yet. However, everyone has LS3 heads out and available now. The cool feature behind these is they will move a lot of air like the "square" port heads, yet be able to bolt on small bore! (Something that can NOT be done with a LS3/L92 GM casting head.) Not to mention all the advantages that an aftermarket casting offers for guys wanting LS3 heads including thicker deck surfaces for big power adders!

So can these be used with LS6 intakes or do you still have to use a LS3 style intake ?

They're still square ports and will require the LS3/L76 intake.

Thanks. Do these heads use smaller valves compared to the factory LS3 heads? What's maximum RPM range of these heads ?

The stock Ls3 valves are a little on the heavier side and would seem to limit the upper RPM range.
