Default BOOST + LS3 heads

I am building a 9.0 to 1 377inch 6.0 base motor and was looking at buying the ls3 heads. i am planning on building a boosted motor and was wondering if any one knows about if these heads are any good or is the deck surface to thin and will they push water under boost ??

They are pretty much the same as the cathedral castings as far as deck thickness. If there is any difference it is minimal. You wont push water from a certain amount of boost. You push water from the amout of power made or detonation.

I heard that about the LS3 heads however, its in high hp setups. If I recall it was an issue with 20+. Do a search. There's a post about it. I've been thinking about boost next year but don't think I have the deck hight since mine are milled .030
