tfs 225's on a Ls3

One of the hottest setups back in the day was the 5.3 heads on a ls1 and still is to this day. Many people believe the stock heads are as good as gets on a ls3. Lately pat g debunked this myth. Since alot of ls3 guys are already spending big bucks on a fast lsx r intake and another 1000 to get the stock heads done, why not go all the the way and try a set of afr 230's or tfs 225's. If you think about it the Trick flow 225 would be the way to go because if you just mill it to 62cc it would take an ls3 up a full point in compression. Afr 230's are already 62 cc. Everyone on here has seen the pat g afr 230 thread. Recently a Ls2 with tfs 225's and a g6x3 did 530rwhp. One would think a Ls3 would do even more, especially considering it would add a full point of compression, and have much better throttle responce. Iam buying a ls3 corvette or camaro and I think this is route I would take just to be different.

with the 1k dollars id save instead of buying TFS or AFR's, I'd put it in buying a ported FAST. It's hard to justify buying 2500 heads and get the same results. Just my .02 Those Ls3 heads are flowing pretty good especially when they are ported.
