Default LS3/L92 heads with SBC/BBC valve Springs

Is anyone running older roller SBC/BBC valve springs on LS3/L92 Heads?
Is there any difference??? I've been looking at specs and it appears that there is a large variety for sbc/bbc and very little for ls motors.

The specs appear to be almost identical...why can/can't we run these???
HELP!!???

Seriously?

There's plenty of options for ls valvesprings. A valve spring is not a part you want to cheep out on.

I'm not talking about "cheaping out" on valve springs, what I'm talking about is parts that appear to be directly compatible, install height, inner/outer diameter and pressures. Why are these basically the same and they cost up to 20x higher for the LS motors????
This seems odd, even when you look at headers...why is a set of BBC 2" or 2+1/8" 1/2 the price of LS 2" headers?

Comments??

Quite often we'll use LS beehive springs on SBC/LT heads.
Sometimes installed PAC 1220 "BBC" springs on specific application LS heads.

Thanks, I appreciate the comments.
Also, in your opinion, what are the best springs for LS3 heads, using a .620 lift/250duration comp cam?

I'm looking for this same info for ls3 heads with .610 lift cam. Surely there is solution to this question.

There are lots of springs for 250.00 that will work on your heads...why not use them?
You can use any spring that fits within installed height/coil bind limits. The diameter of the sbc and bbc springs is often a problem with ls heads ie they are larger in diameter than ls springs. There is nothing special about ls springs. I would make sure the locks worked ok cause the stem is a different size. I recently used some lsx heads on a build as they are machined for a larger diameter spring than other factory ls heads. Many aftermarket heads have more meat for larger springs also.
