LS7 build, 799 head question

LS7 build, 799 head question I just bought a 07 LS7 block and a set of 799 head came with it. Are these optimal to make 550-600 hp. This is not a drag car, It's more pro touring car

not really, i mean yes you could make good power with them but not 550 rwhp. But man, with that nice of a shortblock complement it with atleast some ls3 heads.
think ls7 heads flow 350ish cfm and 243/799 heads are more 290-300 i think. Thats pretty big difference
what drivetrain this going on?

Sell em and apply the funds to a set of heads that can support a ls7 block based build. Scr will be too high with those heads. I will need pistons with deep dishes just to bring scr to common ratios
