Building my shortblock and trying to figure out if the LS2 rods w/arp bolts are as strong as the Scat I-beams that are available for ~300-330? Seems the scats are "rated" at 700hp, I see many people pushing the stock LS2 rods well beyond that.

Simply no, a stock powdered rod is not going to be as good as even a basic aftermarket forged rod.

I honestly don't see many people pushing stock LS2 rods "well beyond 700" and if they are they are on very borrowed time.
