Who makes a 4032 piston for a 4.185 bore?
Beginning to make my parts list for my 454 setup. I like the ERL 454 dry sleeved short block, but I do not care for the pistons they are using. I was hoping Mahle made a 4032 piston in the size that I need, but I did not see one. Does anyone else make one in that diameter? Thanks!

The voice of reason I called Wiseco today and asked if they made a 4032 piston, and they said all of their LSX offerings are 2618. Waiting to hear back from Mahle, and I'm working with Sean at ERL. You are right though, this is it for me. Do it once, do it right. Even though this is round two, since the 454 will be replacing a 382

No one has one on the shelf for a 454 but Wiseco will make one in 4032 if you have to have it. It will be a custom though.

I don't absolutely need it, but from what I understand a 4032 piston will last longer/wear slower than a 2618 piston. I'm not running a blower, a turbo or using nitrous, and I want an engine that will last as long as possible.

Lunati, Diamond and SRP all make 4032 pistons but I'm not sure if they have them in the diameter you're looking for. Not familiar with the ERL 454 Dry Sleeve set-up. Is that a 4.125" diameter?
