Default what preload on morell tiebar lifters ?

what preload is required on morrell street hyd tie bar lifters ?
are they a direct replacement for the LS7 lifters after you remove the LS buckets ?
will the existing 7.450 push rods be OK ?

Should be anywhere from .60-.85. You should always measure for pushrod length. If you have an aftermarket cam or shaved heads you def need to check.

I could be wrong but I thought the Morel's take less preload, around .030-.050.

Is the instruction sheet I received with my lunati version of the morel street link bar lifters.. You should always measure your own pushrod length, but fwiw, my setup with the link bars needed a 7.350 length.

The sheet linked above says preload target is 0.045 - 0.050 for aluminum block and heads.

.50 to .80 is what your looking for then check for your correct pushrod length.

The cup in the Morels sits about .050 higher than stockers. Your PR's will be too long. Measure and get the right length.
