Is this a good cam for a DD?
My friend owns a performance shop and he works mostly on vettes. I asked him to spec out a cam for my C6 Z06 that will produce good power along the other mods he's doing, but still drive like stock. This is what he came up with. I was hoping for a lower LSA so it will sound very lobey at idle, but he said they can tune it to sound lobier. Anyways, what do you think?

I have a 227/243 LSR in my 438 and it drives better than stock. I can run in 6th at 40mph and 5th around 35mph in town no issue. It pulls from a stop in 3rd at 800rpm.
I would run the 231/247 comp if I ever needed a rebuild. The LSA is ok IMO. Tighter will lope more, but the extra durations will do that anyway. It looks good to me
With a good tune I recon it will be "close" to stock.
Go for it

pat G is fantastic. Just know with thatcam you are gonna be replacing springs fairly often and you will need to keep a close eye on that. It should be a good cam, but I think there are some better choices out there. Pat G can also spec you out a custom cam as well, might be worth it especially if hes the one doing the tuning.
