i paid 700$ for a 80k mile 6.0 but i dont see 1200 for a 6.2 with that mileage unreasonable... the block new is worth that...

I would at least ask why the motor has been torn down to a shortblock...thats just me...maybe get a little history
I paid about 1300 for a complete LQ9 with roughly the same mileage

I sold a nonworking 6.2 short for $1000 - had one bad piston, some scuffs in a cylinder, and needed new rings.

$1200 sounds good to me.

Same here. If I can get my hands on it and it turns freely and and no damage anywhere. It would be sold.

If its a good short block thats a good deal do it. Its supply and demand there are not alot of L92s out there ,they command big money due to that.

For a bare short block?? No heads? No intake? No oil pan? No Frills short block?

That's probably a going price.
