Is the only difference between the ls376 525 crate engine and a stock ls3 the ASA cam and valve springs or are the heads different as well?

Just the cam. I went down that road a couple years ago. Its cheaper to buy a stock LS3 crate and stab the cam you want in it, then sell the stock LS3 cam in the classifieds. Then you can have the cam profile you want and save a couple bucks in the process.
