Default LS2 build - weird ati damper fit issue

Building up an LS2 402 and having issues with an ATI damper and the front timing cover. Here's what it looks like installed.

Everything was fine until I went to install my crank bolt. Apparently I didn't have the ATI hub all the way back when I installed it so the crank bolt pushed it back. Then, the engine froze and I couldn't turn it anymore. After troubleshooting it, I figured out it is the AC pulley from the ATI kit pressed up against the front timing cover and was jammed.

I took everything off and here are some pics of the various parts of the ATI kit. Do I have the wrong hub or something or is my timing cover wrong?
Thanks for any help you all can provide.

AC pulley from ATI kit:

How the pulley presses against the timing cover:

Thanks,

There should be directions with it. Is it possible you have the AC pulley on backwards ?

Default Weird

Yea mine looks like the kit you show in the picture. I thought maybe I did have the AC pulley on there backwards but when it goes the other way (no gap between the pulleys), the screws don't reach the AC pulley from the front so the AC pulley doesn't end up getting secured. The instructions don't indicate which way the AC pulley should go.

Default Sticker

Here's the sticker from the ATI box, can someone confirm this is the right part for an LS2 going in a 98 Vette.

Thanks

You definitely have an LS2 timing cover, not sure on the ATI part # but doesn't it say clear as day it is for a LS1? Call ATI to confirm your part #

Default ATI damper

you have the wrong damper, you need the one for an LS2 Corvette the LS1 LS7 ones are different.

So you can't use an ls1 f-body one on a ls2/3/7?

That part# is listed for a cts-v ls2-ls6-lsa so it should work with that cover!

They like me know what their engine is based from, be it Vette or Fbody & GTO, then source the ATI catalogue & find the right part number.

The ATI 917278 is the correct part #. Same one I have on my LS3 stroker. Looks like you have an LS7 timing cover, that sticks out further to make room for the 2 stage oil pump.
