No compression any cylinders, push rods?

I like the looks of the LS9 cam but I'm PD blown running 1.85 SLP roller rockers stock LS3 cam. Sorry about the carnage but I suspected as much. It might have been tagged before and they sold you a bill of goods, no way to tell I guess.
How wild was the cam?

These are the cam specs - 222/230 ..597/.573" 113LSA +2 The damage sucked but at least I'm not chasing ghosts anymore.
I remember having done a compression (though not leak down) on it at one point and thought everything was fine, so I wouldn't rule out me just being stupid. That seems the most likely scenario based on my track record so far.
I really don't want to mess with taking the crank pulley on and off, so I'm going to take it to a machine shop tomorrow and see if they can cut these pistons in the next day or two.
Changing valves is new to me, but since they seem to almost fall out when doing a spring change I'm thinking it can't be too hard.

No, I have a couple herniated discs and my back is killing me, didn't sleep much so taking today off except maybe to wire the radio and push start. New valves and head gasket should be here Thursday afternoon and once I get them it should be easy enough to get the motor back together. Leaving the engine in the car will prove to be a massive time saver (I think).
Still need the exhaust finished and front end aligned, so debating whether or not to have the car transported to a shop tomorrow or just waiting and hoping that I can drive it over on Friday. I'm thinking it might be best to just eat the $100 the flatbed will cost and go ahead and get it done.
