Default 1st LS build - feedback please

Looking to build 1st Ls motor. Here are the details:

LS2 block - squared, minimal material removed
Wiseco 4.005 forged pistons -3.2cc
Stock - 3.622 crank, polished
Forged 6.125 / .927 pin rods
AI 232cc heads, 65cc chambers
ARP main studs
ARP head studs

Willing be installing another LG GX5B 232/238 114 camshaft. Had a lifter go bad an take it out.

Target is 10.4 compression. Am I on target? Feedback gladly welcomed.

Car had ECS blower kit on it with stock motor, made 711/644 to wheels. Power target is 825/710. Will be turn boost up to 10-12psi

Thanks

looks like a solid plan to me. Are you going to line hone the mains? If not, I recommend checking for bore distortion with the main studs.

What plans for the valvetrain?

You need a dished piston. With what you've got picked out so far, your compression ratio is closer to 11.7:1.

Use an online calculator to figure out what you need to get the CR you're looking for. Personally, I'd drop it a little lower than 10.4:1.

Will have blocked checked and if needed line hone it.

KCS, I went with Wiseco's calc info on the compression. That was with using .051 gaskets. Will double, thanks

Yep you're right. I was thinking you were building a 402.
