Default LS1 timing chain in LS3 with x24 reluctor wheel

Here is my situation guys I have a 2004 Z06 here in Germany..recently my block got a crack in it so I started to build a replacement. I currently have a LS3 I have been working on..when it came time for the cam and timing chain I told the vendor I have a x24 reluctor wheel on my crank shaft and was planning on using a LS2 timing cover and a x1 cam gear, well the ended up sending me a 3 pin LS1 Cam (right specs on the cam though) and a LS1/6 timing chain.

My question is can I still make this work? and if so what do I need to do or order any advise would be greatly appreciated. Specs for motor is below.

LS3 shortblock
TEA LS3 heads (stage 1)
Peak Speed 102mm FAST intake
NW 102mm TB
TU LS3 rockers

and the cam they sent me is as followed:

CUSTOM GRIND LS-1 HYDRAULIC
ROLLER 231/242 615/617-112+3

Any input would be appreciated.

You need the 1X camshaft gear used in LS2 engines and an LS2/LS3 timing cover. You will also need an extension harness for the camshaft sensor and knock sensors. The LS3 block does not have the provision for the camshaft sensor. This is an affordable part and easy to get.

I don't remember if the actual sensor is the same or if they use different sensors for 1X vs 4X. I'm pretty sure that it's the same sensor.

The sensor will be the same. Just get the LS2 timing cover and then you know you have the right part.
