Default What piston for TFS GenX255 head @ 4/4.005/4.030 Bore?

What piston are guys using at 4/4.005/4.030 bore with TFS GenX255 heads?
With the 12° valve angle the it will have to have LS7 valve pockets.
Wiseco/JE/Diamond it will be a custom piston.

Is there a shelf piston available?

Yes they have off the shelf pistons 4 U.
Find out which bore size you want 2 go with. Then call but these JE's are really really light.

4.030 bore min. is required but smaller valves could be used for anything less than 4.030 bore.

Trickflows website notes 4.000" as the smallest bore diameter.

I want to use these heads on a 4" stroke, iron 6.0L block nitrous motor.
That is not the best if 4.030 is the smallest you can use.

Never knew that, thought 4.030.
Call and see its early about your pistons. They have either piston for your set-up. I have a part number for the JE asymmetrical piston 4.030 bore. part#311979 Tuff skirt coating them will set you bac 175.oo.

What size of nitrous shot would you be comfortable using with that piston?

You just bought some killer cylinder heads. Maybe the question is why wouldn't you design a piston for what you are doing? Anything off the shelf is most likely making some kind of a compromise vs what's optimal for your goals/combo.

Was told that you may be able 2 get away with a 200shot. There website list any combo from what I was told. Didn't reach Henry.
Above statement so true but with added cost
