Default Comp 15956-16 Short Travel Race Lifters

Hi Guys,
What do you think about those Lifters? was there any failures you know about?

The Set up is 427 Twin Turbo Dart LsNext, MAST 285 Heads PAC 1521x Springs Stock LS7 Rockers with trunions Street/Strip deal.

I've never used them, and I'm sure they're decent, but I have a problem with the preload they say to set them at. According to Comp's instructions, they say zero to 1/4 turn for preload from zero lash.

Yeah, pretty much, but imagine what that ends up as once the engine is hot and all that aluminum expands. You actually end up with lash like a solid roller instead of preload.

I run the Johnson Short Travel... they have .052" of total travel. I set my preload at .034"... runs fine and is quiet.
