ls1 - starting bolt ons
Purchasing my first ls1 2000 TA 6 speed, bone stock from small dealer.... and wondering what decent priced bolt ons I can install this winter to be ready by spring..
H/C/I/E ideas?
Just graduated from Mechanics school, budget is kind of tight, but throw anything at me, I'll make it work eventually!
thanks!

Intake, long tubes/exhaust, tune, gears & heads and cam. Start with the intake and then exhaust. Generally speaking the longtubes flow a bit better than shorties so i would recommend those + a larger pipe and a cat back. Gears really wake up manual transmission cars, so either a 3.73 or 4.10 depending on your primary driving. (Also be weary of the semi-weak 10 bolt rearend, may need to be replaced in the future with a beefier unit) and then the final heads and cam unut which is pretty self exclamatory. Also plan on replacing or upgrading valvetrain while doing H/C.
