Scorpion Race Series Roller Rockers
anyone used these before? they don't seem to be quite as expensive as some of the others that ive seem. thinking about getting a pair of the 1.8 ratio for my l92 heads.

They are probably rebranded. TRY searching for similar/same looking rockers and search there their reliability.

I have a set of Harland Sharp 1.8 roller rockers I'm not using...shoot me a PM if you might be interested in them...they were used on the dyno but are still in new condition...

done alot of research and everyone says stock rockers with the bearing upgrade is the way to go so think i will look into doing that. anyone know if its easy to upgrade the bearings yourself?

The trunnion upgrade is very simple if you have a pair of snap ring pliers, and a shop press....you could probably do it with a vice too, but I would highly recommend using a press....

I'm running a set of stock LS7 1.8 ratio rockers with the comp trunnion kit, .700 lift cam and they are doing just fine so far...though the engine has only seen time on the dyno thus far...

There are a lot of trunion kits out there but for street use I'd stay away from most of them, the Summit kit even states not for street use.
The Harland Sharp kit uses a better material for the shaft but is probably the most expensive, I'd say the best of the others is the ones Brian Tooley sells.
I talked to Brian one time about his kit & I think they're better than the others, I'm thinking about trying his on my drag car.
Unless you need more lift out of a cam you already have installed I'd stay away from 1.8s, L92s with an offset rocker are bad enough & no need to make things worse with a bigger ratio.

Just to put this out there:
Brian's trunion upgrade kit is actually of a better quality steel than the kit Comp makes and sells. Kip at Cam Motion or Brian himself can chime in and back up that claim.
If I do a trunion upgrade again, it will most definitely be with Brian's kit.

Hmm that is very possible...I wonder what the results would be if you did a metallurgical analysis on both kits...just to see how different they actually are...
Now I'm not saying that they aren't different, or that anyone has made any false claims, but I can't help but question the validity of this....
