Lol its getting there im juss ready to here this thing run. And no there not spectre air filters there edlebrock. I figured id try my hand at a custom CAI first since I didn't want to pay for an expensive aftermarket lid that probably wont fit worth a crap. Ill have around $100 in this setup. If it dont work well I can always go back to a lid setup.

Do you plan on installing a shift light?
Just wondering cause I see lots of cars that deserves to have a shift light in them when it's crunch time but they don't......

I have a Harlan shift light in the vent but I never could get it to work bc I suck at wiring even though I followed a step by step write how to do it. Ill have to figure it out though before it goes to the track. Also have a msd 2 step to hook up too. Those two things should help me dial it in at the track.

Do you think the car will run below 10.50 in the quarter and is your heads ported by a member/vender/sponsor?

I dont see why it wouldn't, probably not the first time out but I have the suspension to get me there. Once I see what it whats to do and get it dialed in I think it should run low to mod tens all day long. The heads have Texas speeds port job on them and I bought this motor used with about 800 miles on it so I had them milled a little more and they had to redo the valve job and done a little polishing on the chambers by a local shop. I had them install the springs and set them up for me also.

Bad@$$!! Did you have to lean the radiator further back to make everything clear with the piping ?

Yeah its leaned back a little further back than I wanted but its not too bad. I dont think ill have any problems with it. I have to finish making two small tabs to attach to the filters for support and go buy some nice looking clamps. Im going to get some cardboard and make a template for a piece of aluminum to support the top of the radiator.

Loving that intake setup
Do you have a idea of how much the SS is going to weigh after all the weight reduction/suspension mods ?

Yeah I juss couldn't see spending money on a aftermarket lid and whatnot when you can get this stuff off eBay and make your own cheaper.
Umm idk im sure it will be lighter than stock but probably around 100 lbs lighter im guessing nothing crazy. I think my front end setup is around 80lbs lighter and with the emissions stuff of and I took the back seats out and a few other small things. But those front brakes I have are heeeavy lol. They stop good though.

Build looks Great! One question, Fast TBs have a poor reputation for
Tuning & Drivability, I don't have personal experience just have seen
Allot of members Say NW 92 or GM @ 90MM is the way to go.

Im glad its coming together for you now elite. Its alot of working building one like yours, I can only imagine with the amount of time I have in mine. I like the holley intake and throttle body setup on yours, id love to have it on mine but that stupid cowl though...
I should have it started for the first time this weekend.
