In for it! I've got one of Kip's LLSR's going together later this year. Cathedral-headed L92 416" stroker with a 244°/249°, 0.649"/0.624" on a 112° LSA with T&D rockers. Something tells me yours is "talkin' louder" than mine will...

Lol sorry guys. Cam specs if I remember correctly off the top of my head are 236/246 .63x/.62x 114lsa. I know it was around 12.8 degrees of overlap.

I'll be sure to post numbers as soon. As I know. I can't find dyno time anywhere. Starting to frustrate me.

Sounds nice. Hearing yours makes me more anxious to get mine lit. 250/266 .720/.680 114+4. It's going in a 440 w/ FRH LS7 heads.

Depends on what you're looking for. I told Kip I wanted a good torquey all-street engine with a 6500 RPM red line that would be fun (and easy) to drive with a 4 speed and 3.25 gear...

Absolutely correct^ it all depends on what you're trying to do. POWER is mostly dependent on the HEADS.

Would someone educate me on what it means to have a Low Lash solid roller? I've had an old-school solid roller before where I set hot lash on the rockers. Is the procedure the same with a 'low lash' setup? And if so, I presume that means that adjustable rockers are required?

Seems a simple question, but I'm curious if there is any difference vs. what I'm familiar with on the regular solid rollers...

Exactly. I was pretty happy with my previous hydraulic cam 232/238 .621/.603 113 lsa +3 Made 484/444 on a load bearing dyno(wasn't mustang) and felt great on the street. I wanted something slightly bigger, but didn't want to give up too much low end because this is still a street car/ road course car.

Same deal really. Just tighter tolerances. On my aluminum block/aluminum heads, I have the lash set at .000 cold. It's around .007 once warm.

Edit: Did I mention it's insanely quiet? It puts hydraulic rollers to shame.

The Cam Motion LLR is one of the best purchases I have made since getting into LS engines. Quiet valve train and more power. Win.

I am another low lash solid roller lover. LOL I will start a new thread soon also. I just got off the dyno with a new turbo build and made 871 rwhp on a conservative tune and a boost controller that wasn't cooperating. You will not regret buying Kip's LLSR

Thanx. Are there any reasonably priced options for adjustable rockers which are preferred for these setups?

The second comment is interesting. Quiet? Not sure I would have expected that. Makes me almost wish I had read this about a month ago when selecting my cam. Almost...
