Default LY6 block with used 24x reluctor crank or keep 58x with converter

I have a LY6 short block but will be putting into 01 F-body. I do not want the converter box to be able to run the 58x reluctor but not completely against it either. I
s there anyone that can provide some input on using an older crank with 24x reluctor? I also don't want to mess with changing out the wheel to a 24x.
I am open to hear from anyone that had a good experience with the converter or swapping to a 24x wheel. If you used a sponsor please post who!

A good machine shop can easily take the 58 tooth off and put the 24 tooth on..... heard of this been done countless of times.

Yeah, just replace the reluctor with a 24x. It cost me $70 to have done.

24x wheel = 24x sensor
