Lightbulb l92 heads on ls2

hi im new to this, just got my 06 gto last yr and was wondering what kind of compression i should run on ported and polished l92 heads with my stock ls2 engine. i eventually want to rebuild the bottom end and run a procharger. Any info on how much and the best deal would be helpful as i've been looking at these http://www.texas-speed.com/p-4008-pr...der-heads.aspx they also offer 260cc cnc heads

You should run the most compression you can right now without the blower (somewhere around 11.5).

You will be able to lower the compression enough with pistons for when you bring in the boost.

Using L92 heads with a stock gasket (lowering the compression ever so slightly) I made 475rhp on my LS2 with just head, longtubes and a Englandgreen Mayhem II cam. Threw on a Vortech Si and made 675 on e85.

The Lingenfelter GT 2-3 is a cute little cam with a smooth idle, 25-30 more RW than stock N/A and would be pretty darn effective with your choice of "ram air".....

How much clearance did you have? Do you think you could have got away with a .040 gasket?
