No doubting it, being a Vette, if it grips, you'll have 9's. Todd Drane running a stalled auto, stock bottom LS7, w/ ported heads and a Torquer 110 cam was running consisted high 9's... His car at that time was putting down 540rwhp... So with that knowledge alone it should be a 9 sec car.

Is the Texas mile not a racing event either?

My power doesn't fall off after 6500 either and it makes more than what's listed on the chart but yes, the dyno is a tool.
Not sure why you have turned this thread this way but good luck and enjoy your car

Your torque stays well below mine under the curve and never catches mine, your horsepower stays below mine and never catches mine. I don't know what it will run because I haven't had time to get to the track but I will.

Dude.. No other way to state this.. If you think a dyno number beats a similar powered stalled auto in the quarter mile.. You are a moron or just are real ignorant. Anyone who knows cars.. Or has an opinion worth a grain of salt, knows you are ignorant. There is no comparison!

But we dont see any timeslips!!!!!, a Dyno is just a tuning tool!!!!, or a BS tool!!!! to the shop that we are the best!!!!, example!!!!! my C6 only has 428 tq and 487 rwhp on the dyno but the et and weight says it has 614.36 Calculate
ET 10.16 Weight 3260
from wallace calculators
my HP is 614.36 computed from your vehicle weight of 3260 pounds and ET of 10.16 seconds.

Ok others care less about the 1/4. As for your thought of your HP greater than mine, we can test that in the real world pretty easily.
I believe I've been more than respectful in my responses, being pompous doesn't look poor on my behalf, just yours.

For example.. Your blackwing only story.. Again, not impressed.. Ran 10 11 sec 1/4 miles with a vararam only with a tune. Toasted a c6 z06 all day with 376 rwhp.. You will see his comments in the thread.

Yes, it's a tool, and it's showing if/when something isn't right or when a combo is less than efficient.

487/.80 = 608.75 fwhp

Racing dynos is for putz's. You guys do realize the rest of the setup is much more important that 20 measly rwhp. Plus, I hope you also realize dynos are for dialing af ratios and timing, the actual number means jack ****. The parameters can be adjusted so the number is higher to give the customer a warm and fuzzy about his car. I used to help out at a dyno. We'd always laugh at people wanting that stupid number. If they weren't happy, we could tell them we had it set wrong, change the setting and wallah they were happy with 20 more rwhp. Now did their car magically get faster? Nope.

your task
Show me one Cartek cat that doesn't perform amazingly. You think this one will be different with their track record? If so, why?
For the record, I get my work done by local shops; but that's only because the shop I want for certain things are here. If I had other parts; there are shops across the country I would send my stuff to. I send my parts to where I want. I build the car's setup myself. If I didn't though, I wouldn't hesitate to send my car to Cartek if that's what I wanted. Free country and all.
