Default Bearing clearance dilemma

I'm building a L33 for road race and have a little problem with clearances. I'm getting .00275 for the largest main and around .0032 for the largest rod clearance. Problem is the rods are .002 oversize due to rod bolt upgrade and I can't find oversize rod bearings that are also undersize for the journal. I have the cb1776a bearings but they only make a -.010 not a -.001 that I need. Anyone know of such a bearing?
The mains I can get a -.001 set and mix shells if need be. This is my first aluminum motor and I understand that the mains will open up a bit more than an iron block would. Or is .00275 okay even for aluminum mains?

Any help or part numbers are greatly appreciated.

That's one heck of a measuring stick you got there to accurately measure 5 decimal places of bearing clearance...

Yea, I knew someone would question that. 0.0005 increments. needle comes to rest visually dead between the lines - so I've pretty good reason to assume .00275. Close enough estimate for these purposes.

Rods would be fine and try to get the mains in the .0018"-.0022" range

What bearings are in the rods now?

Use the search function and type in "Oversized Rod Bearing". You should find the part numbers for standard bearings for .002" oversized rods.

The rod bearings are Clevite cb1776a. They're oversize OD for .002 over rod ends and standard size ID.
I searched extensively and can't find any -.001 (ID) part numbers for .002 oversize (OD) bearings, just .010 undersize (ID).
Clear as mud right?

I'm beginning to feel comfortable running the rods that way but would like to see the mains a little closer.
Am I headed for disaster?

Yeah the rods would be fine at .0032", it's just going to make the oil pressure a little lower. Nothing a high volume pump wouldn't fix.

Default Bearing clearance

You can get your bearings coated to close up the clearance. It is possible Calico has sets that are coated. Polydyne in Houston can coat what you have if Calico can't help with this.
