Are these pushrods the same?

I am doing a cam swap and noticed not all the pushrods in my engine are marked the same. All are 7.375 long but some have a 3810 number marked on them, while others have a 3710 number mark. Also, the pushrods are ordered randomly (not sequenced by exhaust / intake).

1. Anybody have any idea who makes pushrods with those numbers? I am concerned that the pushrods are not the same and I should not put it back together the way I found it.

2. Are pushrods normally the same on exhaust and intake, or can they be different?

I have not been able to find those kind of part numbers on Google or this forum.

Sometimes depending on ur valvetrain set up some may require longer/shorter rods

They are all marked 7.375 length, just different part number markings or whatever those 3xxx numbers are.

Manley pushrods, who makes private label pushrods as well, will put that number on them. What I was told is that is simply a batch number. There is no difference from one to the other. They do this so if there is ever an issue with pushrod failure and they get several complaints they will simply ask for the number to narrow down the problems. Which by the way I have yet to see a failure that was caused by an aftermarket pushrod it'self.

Yep, you got it.

I randomly called a few manufactures this morning and Manley recognized it to be one of their older pushrods before they put their name on it. The numbers are the date code of the build.

Time to close up the engine and have fun again! :)
