Default LS7 vs. 2110r pushrod

Been running these stockers from the beginning. Decided my program needs to update and I was starting to get nervous as I am not sure what the normal replacement time frame is on LS7 lifters and 7100-7200rpm. After an estimated 275 passes I ordered a set and changed them last weekend. High quality parts I might add from the first glance. Before with the LS7 lifters my preload was +-.035 w/ 7.300 3/8 pushrod and didn't do badly there. With the Johnson's, the same 7.300 pushrod, same LS3 rockers and stands I have always used, I can now insert a .008 - .015 feeler gauge between the valve and rocker. This is bringing each piston up on tdc and checking at what point the rocker doesn't move at all when inserting the gauge. Going to use a 7.350 pushrod and see how that works. Some will say not enough preload, but this is a race car and with open headers, couldn't hear the tick even if you wanted to

Thought I might share my findings and a search on here brought up nothing
